From February 27 to March 1, unusual species and specimens of orchids will be displayed at the University Library of the University of Warsaw (UW) during the “Orchidea 2020” exhibition, co-organized by the University of Warsaw Botanical Garden.

Potted and garden orchids, orchids grown in Poland, remote Ecuador and other regions of the world including specimens of these colorful flowers can be admired and even purchased. The exhibition will be accompanied by a fair of orchids and accessories for their care and cultivation. Orchid experts will conduct shows and workshops and will give lectures on growing these flowers.

The exhibition will be opened by “Orchid Evening”, which will take place on February 27 at 18.00 at the University Library at ul. Dobra 56/66. On this day, the organizers have planned not only aesthetic attractions of admiring colorful flowers, but also artistic and culinary shows.
