University of Warsaw to operate online until May 15

On April 7, the Rector of the University of Warsaw issued new ordinances regarding study and work rules at the University of Warsaw (UW) to prevent the spread of COVID-19 disease. The documents are amending some previous university acts and extend online classes until May 15.

In addition, the new ordinance of the University of Warsaw’s rector is extending the period of limiting the activities of the university from April 10 to May 15, 2020, and the deadline for suspension of business trips abroad and participation in national conferences of employees, doctoral students, students and postgraduate students of the University from April 30 to June 30, 2020.

The deadline for canceling open events (conferences, symposia, open lectures, artistic events and other) organized by the University of Warsaw from 30 April to 31 August 2020 was also extended, as well as the deadline for suspending the lodging of new people in student dormitories and other facilities of the University of Warsaw and the ban on visiting these facilities from April 30 to June 30, 2020.
