Psychologists from the University of Wroclaw with the scientists from the Center of Smell and Taste Senses at the Technical University in Dresden will examine the social and cognitive functioning of people who lost their sense of smell. Cooperation will be possible thanks to the European program “Strategischen Fördertopf Internationalisierung”.

The money from the program is devoted to the development of strategic scientific cooperation between the Technical University of Dresden, King’s College in London and Prague and Wroclaw universities. The aim is to internationalize the curriculum and research as well as to raise the ranking of the university.

Researchers are planning to organize a summer school, a series of seminars and guest lectures, and popular science meetings to internationalize the staff of both universities and popularize research results. They also plan to create a program for exchanging experiences including bilateral visits and a mentoring program for research assistants.
