The renovation of three greenhouses in the Botanical Garden of the University of Wrocław, built in 1906-1907, has been completed. African and Mexican succulents will now have optimal conditions for growth. One of the greenhouses will be a plant propagation facility, and soon the renovation of another historic garden place – the Cactus Farm will begin.

Greenhouses are now modern, but above all more ecological. Modern technologies were used and the appropriate type of heating and high-quality roof covering were installed. The renovated greenhouses will be available to visitors from the next season.

In the new greenhouses, it will be possible to cultivate extremely interesting species for which there were no conditions before. The renovations were carried out thanks to co-financing from the project implemented under the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management as well as thanks to the support of the authorities of the University of Wrocław.
