The University of Wrocław and the Zoological Garden in Wrocław signed a cooperation agreement that assumes joint conducting projects and research, and disseminating their results.

The document includes the transfer of knowledge, cooperation with world research centers, implementation of apprenticeships, bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral dissertations at the zoo. The partners put emphasis on scientific research, the results of which, apart from the cognitive aspect, would also have practical value for animals – zoo residents, as well as employees and tourists visiting them. The overarching goal of the signatories is to join theory and research with practice.

Signing the agreement will support scientific development and broaden the substantive competences of employees of both institutions, as well as students and doctoral students who will even more consciously care for nature in the spirit of respect for biodiversity.
