The University of Wrocław will start soon its 11th mentoring program. The program includes six months of intensive work as a student – mentor, sharing professional experience, participation in joint projects, professional contacts, and most importantly, getting to know the labor market.
The mentoring program is based on an informal relationship that a mentor, i.e. an experienced specialist in a given industry, who wants to share his knowledge and experience, establishes with a mentee, i.e. student of the University of Wrocław. As part of the project, the mentor and mentee meet at least five times.
– The program includes meetings, cases, student visits to mentor companies, participation in joint projects, using networking and professional contacts of mentors, reading fantastic literature recommended by mentors and getting to know mentors’ know-how – says Dominika Buczkowska, head of the University Careers Office Wrocławski.
