The Institute of Journalism and Social Communication of the University of Wroclaw invites participants on May 13 and 14 to the international media conference Media Studies and Perspectives. This year’s conference will be held under the slogan “Media in the digital environment”.

Specialists of media and communication from the most important academic centers in Poland as well as from foreign universities from the United States, Great Britain, Italy, Norway, Finland and Germany will take part in the event.

The topics of the discussions include relations between digital media and the so-called traditional media; hybridization processes of contemporary media; changes in the way of communication related to access to digital media; journalism and journalists in the conditions of digital media; social changes caused by the digital character of the media, changes in the media ecosystem, changes in attitudes and social behavior.
