The Institute of Political Science of the University of Wrocław is organizing from 4 to 7 September the prestigious General Conference of the European Consortium for Political Research (ECPR).

The conference will attract scientists from all over the world, representing all sub-disciplines. The program of the event is divided into sections, which consists of 3 to 8 panels. The sections are organized as seminar on common topics and research questions. The opening ceremony and plenary lecture will be held on September 5 at the National Forum of Music in Wroclaw. The lecture will be given by Prof. Grzegorz Ekiert from Harvard University.

The European Political Research Consortium was founded in 1970. It is an independent scientific association of 350 member institutions from around 50 countries. The first ECPR General Conference was held in Canterbury, UK in 2001.
