The Institute of Geography and Regional Development of the University of Wrocław begins the project “Do you know what you breathe? – education and information campaign for cleaner air – LIFE-MAPPINGAIR / PL “. The project is financed from the European Commission funds under the LIFE financial instrument and the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management.

The project combines scientific and practical aspects to meet environmental and social needs, such as improving air quality or universal access to reliable information on air pollution in their places of residence. The subject of the project refers to the main research problems in Poland and is part of the assumptions of the EU environmental policy.

The total project budget is over PLN 8.2 million. The venture partners include Wroclaw University of Science and Technology and Wroclaw Network and Supercomputing Center and the City Hall of Bydgoszcz.
