The University of Zielona Góra has concluded an agreement with the National University Taras Shevchenko in Kiev – in the field of philosophy and political science. The document was signed by the rectors of both universities: Prof. Eng. Tadeusz Kuczyński and Prof. Leonid Hubersky.

The Dual Diploma Program is intended for second-year students studies at both universities. Students from the Kiev University will be able to come to Zielona Góra for the last two semesters of studies and write a master’s thesis under the direction of two Polish and Ukrainian promoters in Polish or in English languages. The same opportunity will have students from Zielona Góra. They can spend two semesters at the University of Kiev and write a master’s thesis in Ukrainian or in English.

The implementation of the program will be coordinated by the Polish-Ukrainian Center for Humanities Studies, created last year by both universities. Recruitment for the dual studies has already begun.
