The Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences of the University in Zielona Góra was registered in the World Directory of Medical Schools.

-This is very important information for our students, because in the future it will enable them to recognize a doctor’s diploma outside the European Union, especially in the USA and Canada – highlights Professor Agnieszka Zembron-Łacny, dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences of the University in Zielona Góra.

World Directory of Medical Schools combines information previously contained in the WHO World Catalog, the International Medical Directory Catalog (IMED) and the Avicenna Catalogs. It contains information on 2,900 universities from all over the world (including 19 Polish medical schools and departments running a medical faculty), recruitment conditions and duration of medical studies.
