On 5-7 April 2019, the AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow is holding the VIII Krakow Conference on Financial Mathematics. The event is organized by the Scientific Modeling of Finance Scientific Group operating at the Faculty of Applied Mathematics.

The main goal of the conference is to expand knowledge in the field of the latest methods and mathematical models used on the financial market. The topics related to investments, the valuation of financial instruments and the implementation of mathematical models will be discussed.

The conference is held mainly for students, which is why the organizers stressed the practical application of theoretical scientific issues in the finances. It will include workshops to see how to implement mathematical models in practice.
