“Warsaw – a guide for migrant women” is a publication that was created to support migrant women arriving in the Polish capital. The guide is published under the patronage of Prof. Izabela Grabowska, working for the Centre for Research on Social Change and Mobility, operating at the Leon Koźmiński Academy in Warsaw.
The guide helps to organise a new daily life – from finding a flat to looking for a job to spending leisure time. It also helps to understand the regulations and civic responsibilities.
“In the guide, we encourage migrant women, among other things, to visit the My Migration portal [www.mojamigracja.org], created by Leon Koźmiński Academy researchers”, emphasises Prof. Grabowska. On a specially prepared website, we enable migrants to obtain information on their competences, which is useful when creating CVs and job interviews.
The guide is online in Polish, English, Ukrainian and Russian: https://wcpr.pl/projekty-unijne/przewodnik-dla-migrantek.
