The Faculty of Architecture of the Warsaw University of Technology dominated the BGK Real Estate competition for the development of a model single-family home. The competition was held as part of the government Flat Plus program. The best solutions will be implemented as prototype houses. The Ministry of Science and Higher Education was a partner of the competition.

The technical universities and architecture offices could have applied for the competition. The first and second places among the universities belonged to the projects proposed by the Faculty of Architecture of the Warsaw University of Technology. In addition, the project by the next team of the Faculty of Architecture received a distinction.

– The initiative taken by BGK Real Estate is another impulse to build a bridge between the world of science and business. An innovative state can be built only on the basis of close cooperation of these two environments and efficient transfer of knowledge in key areas of the economy – emphasized Jarosław Gowin, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Science and Higher Education.
