The Warsaw School of Economics (SGH) in Warsaw received the prestigious EQUIS (European Quality Improvement System) accreditation. EQUIS institutional accreditation is an international system for assessing the quality of education and study conditions in business schools. It is awarded to the best business universities by the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD).  

About 200 business universities in the world are accredited EQUIS, with 105 in Europe including London Business School, French INSEAD or Frankfurt School of Finance and Management. In Poland, EQUIS was awarded to the Faculty of Management at the University of Warsaw and the Kozminski University in Warsaw.

EQUIS is the most comprehensive institutional accreditation system for business and management schools. It is a quality benchmark in ten areas of university activity – it provides rigorous control when it comes to comparing a given university to international standards in management, programs, students, faculty, research, internationalization, ethics, responsibility and sustainability, as well as commitment to practical activities.
