The University of Warsaw (UW) has signed an agreement with the Warsaw Southern Hospital on teaching and research cooperation in the creation and running of a medical faculty at the UW.

The agreement was signed by Professor Alojzy Z. Nowak, Rector of the UW, and Artur Krawczyk, President of the Management Board of Warszawski Szpital Południowy sp. z o.o.

The agreement relates to the provision of education, including teaching and apprenticeships within the medical faculty at the University of Warsaw. It also aims to develop research cooperation between the two institutions in the fields of medical and health sciences.

The Southern Hospital will participate in the organisation of didactic classes and apprenticeships, also providing teaching staff. It will also make the clinical base available to the UW. In addition, UW students will be able to use the teaching equipment and materials offered by the Hospital.
