Prof. Eng. Jan Szmidt, rector of the Warsaw University of Technology (WUT), Krzysztof Figat, president of the board of Polimex-Mostostal, and Przemysław Janiszewski, vice-president of Polimex-Mostostal signed an agreement on scientific and technical cooperation.

Combining the scientific and research potential with practical knowledge and experience of one of the leaders of engineering and executive companies in Poland will allow to develop competences and promote best practices in the construction, energy, oil, chemistry and gas industries as well as production. Cooperation is planned for educational, development, investment and modernization projects.

The agreement includes the implementation of scholarship programs for the best students and graduates of the WUT, as an investment to create a back-up of the competent staff of future employees of the Polimex-Mostostal group. The agreement also provides for cooperation in the organization of training courses and post-graduate studies dedicated to the company’s engineering and technical staff.
