Warsaw University of Technology (‘PW’) has successfully passed the international institutional evaluation of the European University Association – Institutional Evaluation Programme (EUA – IEP).

The evaluation process began in June 2022 with an analysis of PW’s activities in six areas: research management and use of research results, university governance, quality culture, teaching and learning, cooperation with the socio-economic environment, and internationalisation.

“After sending the report to the EUA in March 2023, we started the next phase of the evaluation. Visits by international experts took place twice, in April and June 2023”, says Prof Zbigniew Pakiela, who led the team preparing the self-evaluation report.

PW received a positive assessment from the evaluation team, which particularly appreciated the activities in the implementation of the PW Development Strategy, including the role of the Strategic Analysis Department, and the initiatives implemented as part of the ENHANCE consortium. The university also received recommendations and guidance to further improve its key processes.
