Zofia Wrona, a student at the Faculty of Mathematics and Information Sciences at the Warsaw University of Technology, has won second prize in the AIR Institute competition for her presentation of the ‘Extended Green Cloud Simulator’ project.
As the winner explains, the Extended Green Cloud Simulator is a multi-agent system acting as a digital twin of the cloud infrastructure proposed in CloudFerro’s research project, which allows for the simulation of distributed cloud infrastructures whose servers use, among other things, renewable energy sources.
The presentation of the system took place at the International Conference on Practical applications of Agents and Multi-Agent System (PAAMS), focusing on practical applications of agents and multi-agent systems. The event took place from 12-14 July 2023 in Guimarães, Portugal.
The AIR Institute, which presented its awards, is a private, non-profit research organisation that aims to promote and advance research in the fields of computer science and artificial intelligence.
