The Centre for Advanced Materials and Technology CEZAMAT at the Warsaw University of Technology is organising the first Science Film Festival on 18-19 November 2022.

The festival is a national competitive review of the work of young people and adults aged 16 to 40. It will present all film genres, and the basic criterion for the selection of competition films is the proximity of the scientific theme.

The aim of the Festival is to promote Polish science among children, young people and adults, and to honour the best films and their makers.

The Festival programme consists of a main competition presenting feature-length films and a short film competition presenting feature etudes and other short films.

Applications will be accepted until 24 October 2022. A maximum of 10 feature-length films and 15 short films will qualify for the main competition.
