The Faculty of Mathematics and Information Sciences of the Warsaw University of Technology (WUT) is inviting students, teachers and all mathematics enthusiasts to the 6th Popularisation of Mathematics Days on 15 September 2022.

The event’s programme will include dozens of mathematical activities related to the applications of mathematics. They include lectures and workshops on a variety of topics and at various levels of difficulty, prepared by mathematicians and popularisers from all over Poland. 

The presenters will talk e.g. about video games, virtual reality, the fourth dimension, paradoxes, and even about the relationship between mathematics and music and medicine. Workshops will be an opportunity to almost tangibly touch mathematical phenomena in a computer laboratory or practice room.

The event will not be short of games, puzzles and competitions, screenings of mathematical films, exhibitions and presentations. Participants will be able to play computer and board games, as well as face science Olympiad tasks.
