Already on Friday, July 27, the longest total lunar eclipse will occur, which humans will experience in the 21st century.
The Warsaw Copernicus Science Center is preparing its telescopes for this unique phenomenon in the Discovery Park. Thanks to them, the visitors can watch the eclipse “at close”. During the event, lectures on the phenomenon of the lunar eclipse will be provided.
The moon can be observed from the Świętokrzyski Bridge and the National Stadium, which will switch off the lighting and special effects Friday evening so that the eclipse will be more visible.
The full lunar eclipse will start around 21.30 and end at 23.13. The next eclipse of this type will be visible in Poland only in 2123.
