A workshop to support the development of academic education in Ukraine will be held at the University of Wrocław on 24-25 April. Representatives of universities from Kyiv, Lviv and Chernivtsi will take part.
The guiding principle of the workshop will be the responsibility of universities towards the challenges of the 21st century. Representatives of academic staff from Ukrainian universities will have the opportunity to learn about the methodology of building joint study programmes, while administrative staff will be introduced to the idea of social responsibility in business. The methodology of consortium building and project management in an intercultural environment will also be presented.
The meeting is made possible thanks to funding from the National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA). They are part of a broader collaboration with the Ukrainian side. The NAWA funds will enable doctoral students from Ukrainian universities to participate in two summer schools organised in Wrocław on democracy and speleology.
