Prof. Nitesch Chawla, a world-renowned specialist in artificial intelligence, will be a guest at the next Interdisciplinary Scientific Seminar at Wrocław University of Science and Technology. The lecture, scheduled for 18 May, is part of the first AIDAY@Wroclaw Tech programme.
Nitesh Chawla from the American University of Notre Dame is a professor of computer science and engineering and director of the Lucy Family Institute for Data and Society. He also works in the Department of Applied Computational Mathematics and Statistics in the College of Science, and the Department of Information Technology Analytics and Operations in the College of Business. His research focuses on issues related to artificial intelligence, data science and networks.
The Interdisciplinary Research Seminar has been organised since 2017. It is a series of lectures aimed at a wide audience: students, PhD students, academics and anyone interested in deepening their knowledge.
