The Wrocław branch of the Polish Sociological Association, Wrocław Contemporary Museum (MWW) and Wrocław Culture Zone are inviting participants to the MWW on June 16 for a discussion ” There is no accounting for taste, taste and life styles through the eyes of a sociologist”. This is the last conference within the program “SocioPerception” this year.
The organizers intend to discuss what can be learned about Polish society by looking at people’s everyday consumption, free time and participation in culture. The event will be led by Dr Michał Cebula from the Institute of Sociology of the University of Warsaw.
It will be attended by Agata Bachórz from the University of Gdańsk, author of a book on Polish tourism to Russia, co-author of studies on participation in Polish culture, researcher of eating practices and Aleksandra Drabina-Różewicz – PhD student at the Institute of Sociology of the University of Warsaw, observer and pop culture researcher, author of publications on popular culture, gender and the labor market.
