Over 500 students and carers from all over Poland participated in the 24th International Conference and the 36th Meeting of Student Science Clubs organized by the Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences.
In 17 sections students presented 155 works on biology, animal husbandry, biotechnology, food and human food technology, geodesy, environmental engineering, veterinary science, basic sciences, agrotechnics, ecology and environmental protection and economics.
The topics of presentations were very diverse. The students talked about the change of fashions on dog breeds, vegan foams – innovative products on the confectionery market, use of hemp and linseed oil to produce a yeast based food supplement, use of ultrasounds to support yeast dough preparation, ECG standards for sport pigeons, stimulating entrepreneurial thinking for students and hydroponics for growing lettuce.
