The University of Life Sciences in Wrocław has been consistently climbing up in one of the most important rankings in the world – the Times Higher Education World University Rankings (THE WUR). This year it is ranked 1201-1500 in the world in the overall ranking. The university also ranked highly in the first edition of the QS World University Rankings focused exclusively on universities in the European region.
The Times Higher Education ranking is a compilation of the world’s best universities with a particular emphasis on research. THE assesses universities in terms of teaching (learning environment), rank, income, citation and reputation of research conducted and knowledge transfer and international outlook.
In the first edition of the QS World University Rankings Europe, 690 universities from Europe took part. The Wroclaw University of Life Sciences ranked 496th in the overall ranking and 68th in the Eastern Europe list. It also ranked fourth among natural science universities in Poland.
