Wrocław University of Science and Technology was ranked second among Polish technical universities in the Regional Rankings EECA 2022 assessing the best universities from Central and Eastern Europe and Central Asia. In the overall ranking of over 400 universities, Wrocław University of Science and Technology has taken the 45th place – one position higher than in 2021.
Regional Rankings Emerging Europe and Central Asia have been published since 2014 as part of QS World University Rankings. The list takes into account the evaluation of the academic staff, reputation among employers, the ratio of the number of employees to the number of students, the number of foreign students and the degree of internationalization of the academic staff.
Higher positions in the ranking were taken by the Jagiellonian University (5th place), the University of Warsaw (6th) and the Warsaw University of Technology (14th). As in previous years, the oldest Russian university, i.e. the MW Lomonosov Moscow State University was the winner.
