Wrocław University of Science and Technology has been accepted into the international organisation Paul Ehrlich MedChem Euro PhD Network. Its task is to promote scientific exchange, improve the qualifications and education of PhD students conducting research in medicinal chemistry.
The establishment of the network is the result of cooperation and meetings of European universities carrying out research in the field of medicinal chemistry. Officially, the organisation was founded in 2009 and brought together 25 universities with the aim of supporting the education and research training of PhD students.
Membership of the network is open to all European universities, as long as they accept the principles, sign a letter of accession and demonstrate significant scientific achievements in the field of medicinal chemistry. Industry partners and academic institutions from outside the European Union can join as associate members. The organisation currently brings together 66 universities from 23 countries.
