The digitization project of nearly 280,000 of various articles as technical magazines, architectural reports, photos and negatives is being completed at the Knowledge and Information Center of Science and Technology of the Wrocław University of Science and Technology.
Polish magazines published since 1948 are scanned and processed – including journals that are a valuable source for research and are an important element of national heritage, illustrating the development of Polish science over the years and its impact on world science. Their digitization and development will ensure secure, long-term digital storage and archiving, and in the next stage will enable the broad access to the materials.
The digitized materials are also related to architectural and archaeological issues and what creates unique documentation of Polish monuments, with particular emphasis on the Lower Silesia Region. The archives include technical magazines and architectural reports, as well as negatives and photos.
