The exhibition ‘Matheliebe. Fall in love with mathematics’ is open until 30 November and shows the exciting world of mathematics in a new, attractive and accessible way for everyone. The exhibition is linked to the International Championships in Mathematical and Logical Games hosted by the Wrocław University.

The project “Matheliebe. Fall in love with mathematics’, was initiated and implemented by mathematics teacher Georg Schierscher. During his work at a secondary school in Liechtenstein, he was able to surprise his pupils with models in which mathematics materialised and through which its beauty could be more easily understood.

At the exhibition, his unusual ideas can be made known to a wider audience. The exhibit consists of more than 100 physical models, objects and computer graphics and animations. All help visitors to grasp the mathematical laws behind everyday phenomena.
