In the latest Times Higher Education World University Ranking (THE WUR) 2024, the Wrocław University of Science and Technology has moved up – from the 1500+ level to the 1200+ positions. In the new QS Europe Ranking, the University of Technology was ranked 322nd in Europe and 7th in Poland.
A total of 1904 universities from 108 countries around the world were ranked in THE WUR, including 37 universities from Poland. The universities were evaluated in five basic categories: teaching, research environment, research quality, international outlook and industry. Data is collected based on surveys of researchers and data provided by universities through a dedicated portal.
The first QS Europe Ranking included 690 European universities from 42 countries. They were assessed, based on submitted data, in five areas: research and discovery, employability and outcomes, learning experience, global engagement and sustainability.
