The Information and Promotion Department of Wrocław University of Science and Technology has won the Tomasz Trzciński Award for exemplary information policy. The award was presented during the gala of the 19th Science Populariser 2023 competition.
The competition has been organised by the Nauka w Polsce service, published by the Polish Press Agency, since 2005. The selection of the awarded institution is made by the journalists and journalists of the service themselves, based on their own experience.
“We take care of good, substantive relations with journalists and, as you can see, it brings results. We respond quickly to questions we receive, as we know that time is of the essence for the media. We also create certain topics ourselves, suggesting and suggesting interesting issues and interesting interlocutors from Wrocław University of Science and Technology to journalists”, says Andrzej Charytoniuk, Head of the Information Section in the Information and Promotion Department.
