Wrocław University of Science and Technology was awarded for the best online video campaign. The university won in this category in the national competition Genius Universitatis organized by the Perspektywy Foundation. The jury appreciated the documentary miniseries “Science squared”.
The miniseries “Science squared” premiered in the fall of 2021. Each of the six episodes took viewers on a journey through the recesses of technology, research laboratories and workshops of engineers from Wrocław University of Technology.
“We created this series to show internet users how much we owe to scientists and their daily work. We wanted to show that the effects of their activities surround us in everyday life and create our future”, says Katarzyna Kroczak-Knapik, the head of the Information and Promotion Department of Wrocław University of Technology.
Genius Universitatis is the largest and most reliable competition for the creative recruitment of a university in Poland. For 10 years, it has awarded the best advertisements of Polish universities.
