Scientists from the Wrocław University of Science and Technology have started an international public opinion survey on COVID-19. They want to examine the public awareness of coronavirus and find out through which information channels respondents are looking for information about the pandemic.
The project supervised by scientists from the Wrocław University of Science and Technology is implemented simultaneously in many countries and in several languages. Universities from Brazil, China, Denmark, Spain, the Netherlands, Germany, Iceland, Indonesia, Portugal, Russia, Spain and Turkey have already joined the research. Everyone can take part in the project through completing an online survey.
– In the survey, we ask about knowledge about the virus, about preventive measures, opinions about facts and myths about COVID-19, about the potential impact of a pandemic on the economy and public health in a given country and in the world – says Anna Kowalska-Pyzalska from the Department of Research Operational and Business Intelligence Wrocław University of Science and Technology.
