Wrocław University of Science and Technology has acquired a new sports center including basketball and volleyball halls, a gym, as well as dance and martial arts rooms. Nearly 230 fans will be able to support sportsmen. It will allow to organize the Polish Academic Championships in the new facility.

The investment was divided into two parts. The first one included building the premises with basketball and volleyball halls, administrative rooms, cloakrooms and toilets. The second part involved the construction of a smaller building with specialized training rooms – a gym, martial arts room, ballroom dancing and fitness room with cloakrooms and sanitary facilities. In addition, internal roads, parking lots and pavements were also constructed.

The tender for the construction of the center was completed in December 2018 and the first works started at the end of January 2019. Students will be able to use the facility from the new academic year. The value of the investment is over PLN 45 million.
