Students of the Faculty of Architecture of the Wrocław University of Technology got to the finals of the international Multi Comfort Student Contest. They created projects transforming the post-industrial part of Saint-Denis into comfortable housing estates full of green zones and recreation areas, which were recognized as the best in the nationwide stage of competition.
This is the 16th international competition. It was organized for the first time in Serbia in 2004, since then students from all over the world have been competing for awards. The competition is divided into two stages – the eliminations in individual countries and the global final, which will take place in Paris this year.
The participants were to design a Sustainable Development Park, transforming the post-industrial area into an area full of life and green zones. The Polish eliminations were won by the work “Sunray” by Marta Noszczyk and Maria Opłatek. The second final project is “Live, work & play in a sustainable way” by Justyna Dmytryk and Mai Klawitter.
