Wrocław University of Science and Technology will receive PLN 638,000 from the ministerial funding under the project “University’s Didactic Excellence”. In total, the Ministry of Education and Science allocated over PLN 34 million to support Polish universities.
Thanks to the grant received, the Polytechnic Center of Teaching Excellence (CDD) established in December 2021 will be able to intensify activities related to the improvement of the education process at the university. It is primarily about strengthening the commitment and professional self-awareness of academic teachers, developing their teaching competences, but also pro-quality attitudes.
“We will achieve this when we diagnose the needs of the staff, improve the level of communication on teaching excellence, increase the number of competence training and invest in innovative teaching solutions” says the head of CDD, Dr Anna Borkowska.
The money will be received from the Knowledge Education Development Operational Program and the European Social Fund.
