Wrocław University of Science and Technology is among the winners of the EIT HEI Innovation Capacity Building for Higher Education competition. The Wrocław university will receive up to EUR 750,000 for the implementation of the “Deetechtive” project.
The European Institute of Innovation and Technology’s ‘Deep Tech Talents’ initiative is a key element of the EIT’s strategic innovation plan for 2021-2027 and aims to support higher education institutions in training one million high-tech talents in the coming years. The programme offers specialised knowledge, coaching and access to the EIT innovation ecosystem, as well as funding.
“Deetechtive intends to transform each participating university into a university with significantly enhanced Deep Technology-based entrepreneurial and innovation capabilities and increase their impact on the surrounding ecosystems”, says Dr Mariusz Cholewa of the project implementation team.
