Two and a half thousand employees and students will be trained under the “College available” project. Wroclaw University of Science and Technology received a grant from the National Center for Research and Development for its activities. The total amount of funding is over PLN 14 million.

The project includes 254 training sessions and workshops for groups of 8-12 people. They will be implemented in four areas: an awareness module, where participants will be able to gain knowledge about the functioning of disabled people, workshops on working with disabled people in the teaching process, workshops for administrative, support and management staff.

As part of the project, over 50 navigation plans will be made, which will match key places of the university. A virtual walk around the university and a guidebook for people who would like to cooperate with the disabled and educational materials tailored to their needs will be created. There are also plans to adapt the interior of the dorms.
