Students and scientists at the Wrocław University of Technology presented their inventions at the World Summit of the Information Society (WSIS Forum) 2018 in Geneva, Switzerland. They showed six projects – including an unmanned and autonomous air system for blood transport.
Wrocław University of Technology students also presented a 3D scanner controlled by a mobile application that enables quick and easy reproduction of three-dimensional elements (3D photocopying), a Martian rover Scorpio and a robotic chessboard – a device for playing chess games, both with a live partner and with artificial intelligence.
Other Wroclaw projects on the co-organized by UNESCO WSIS Forum 2018 were a robot with a manipulator that detects obstacles, working in conditions inaccessible to people and an innovative rental service through the application powerbank from any location in the city.
