The construction of a new research center at the Wrocław University of Technology is nearing completion “GEO-3EM Energia, Ekologia, Edukacja”. The new building is being built in the vicinity of the “Polinka” cableway station and the Geocentrum educational and research complex.

In a new facility with an area of ​​over 4,500 sq m there will be more than a dozen laboratories, which will be used primarily by scientists from the faculties of land and water construction; chemical; electronics; geoengineering; mining, geology and mechanical department.

In the laboratories there will be about 150 specialist devices worth approximately PLN 70 million. The whole facility will serve the purpose of conducting research and development works focused on strategic areas for the development of the region, such as: spatial mobility, natural and secondary raw materials, production of machinery and equipment, and material processing. The total value of the project is approx. PLN 100 million. The object is to be put into use in early 2019.
