Researchers and students of the civil and water engineering and the geoengineering, mining and geology faculties of the Wrocław University of Technology invite participants on Saturday, October 20 to the Laboratories Night.

During this year’s event students will be able to visit the Museum of Minerals and take part in chemical workshops. The history of bridge-making in the world and the specificity of Polish bridges will be described by Prof. Jan Biliszczuk – designer of the Rędziński bridge. Dr Bogdan Przybyła will take participants under the surface of Wroclaw’s streets and reveal what the Mobile Laboratory of Underground Infrastructure is dealing with. There will also be an opportunity to learn how the condition of concrete on construction sites and in historical facilities is examined in a non-destructive way using a modern scanner.
