WSB Academy in Dabrowa Mining has become a partner of one of the scientific events within the framework of the European Week of Regions and Cities (#EURegionsWeek) in Brussels. Workshop “Citizens at the forefront of the development of cross-border living areas”, will take place on 14 October on-line. The organizer of the event is Transfrontier Euro-Institut Network.

One of the workshop’s panellists is Dr Joanna Kurowska-Pysz, WSB Academy, director of the Institute for Studies on Territorial and Inter-organizational Cooperation. The lecture will be devoted to grassroots social initiatives undertaken during the pandemic on the Polish-Czech border in defense of cross-border workers.

#EURegionsWeek is an annual event in Brussels dedicated to cohesion policy. It aims to provide a platform for capacity building, learning and exchange of experience and good practice for those implementing EU cohesion policy and managing its financial instruments.
