The WSB Academy in Dąbrowa Górnicza has won the European Solidarity Corps (EKS) Quality Mark for an organisation hosting and supporting volunteering projects. The label is a certification that an organisation participating in an EKS project meets all the standards of the programme. Any organisation or institution that wants to get involved in Volunteering Projects must have it, reports the university.
Volunteering Projects provide young people with the opportunity to volunteer at home or abroad. Volunteer assignments address important social needs and contribute to the strengthening of local communities while enabling volunteers to gain experience and competence.
The Quality Seal confirms that the organisation provides young people with the opportunity to participate in high-quality projects with a strong solidarity dimension, in line with the values and objectives of the EKS. As a result of the certificate received, WSB Academy will soon be hosting volunteers from all over the world.
