The faculty of ethnology and education sciences with the faculty of computer science and materials science at the University of Silesia are inviting participants to the 11th international scientific conference “Theoretical and practical aspects of distance learning.” The topic of the meeting will be “E-learning and STEM Education”.

The organizers are planning a discussion in the following areas: E-learning and STEM education (Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths); E-environment and cyberspace; E-learning in the development of key competences and E-learning and development of intercultural competences in various countries; E-learning methodology – implementation and evaluation; Effective use of ICT tools in education; Alternative methods, forms and techniques in distance learning and Theoretical and methodological aspects of e-learning.

The conference will be held on October 14 and 15 in Katowice and Sosnowiec. The honorary patron of the event will be Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Science and Higher Education, Jarosław Gowin.
