The winners of the 13th Polish Student-Inventor Competition organised since 2010 by Kielce University of Technology have been announced. The main prize in the Competition is the presentation and promotion of the Laureates’ solutions during the International Exhibition of Inventions in Geneva – Geneva Inventions 2023 and during the Warsaw International Exhibition of Inventions IWIS 2023.
The Competition Jury awarded five equal main prizes and distinctions.
The main awards were given to teams of students from: Warsaw University of Technology for ‘Method and system for monitoring the vital activities of an infant during sleep based on a neural network’, University of Silesia for ‘Method of obtaining new nanomaterials for renewable energy sources in a cycle of 4 inventions’, Krakow University of Technology for ‘Method of obtaining a polymer matrix composite containing hydroxyapatite and a polymer matrix composite containing hydroxyapatite’, Kielce University of Technology for ‘Mineral-asphalt mixture of continuous grain asphalt concrete type for road pavement construction with increased service life’, and Justyna Pastuszak of Lublin University of Technology for ‘Method of manufacturing silicon photovoltaic cell with additional energy level in the forbidden band in a cycle of 3 inventions’.
