The National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) is opening the call for applications for the General Władysław Anders Scholarship Programme for the Polish community, thanks to which young Poles from all over the world can come to study in Poland.
Students with Polish roots who hold a Polish Charter or Polish citizenship and citizenship of another country can begin their education at Polish universities. This year, NAWA will allocate almost PLN 30 million to the programme.
The majors that are most popular among scholarship holders are management, computer science and economics. Most students choose to study at the Jagiellonian University, the University of Warsaw, the Warsaw School of Economics and the Wrocław University of Science and Technology.
Most students come from Belarus, Ukraine, Lithuania, and Kazakhstan. Scholars of the Programme also include citizens of Brazil, Croatia, the Czech Republic Cyprus, Jordan, Moldova, France, the United States, Turkmenistan and Italy.
