Over 13,000 participants benefited from classes at the Young Programmer’s Clubs set up by the Ministry of Digitization. Clubs have been operating for 3 months in 16 medium-sized cities in Poland.
The club from Piotrków Trybunalski, where 46 workshops with 522 participants were organized, was the record holder among the workshop points launched last year. The clubs will operate until October 2020, during which 3,200 free workshops will be held for over 40,000 people.
The opening of Clubs is an element of the Educational and informational campaigns project for the dissemination of benefits from the use of digital technologies. They are aimed at promoting the use of technology in everyday life by people of all ages, eliminating barriers and increasing the digital competence of the society. The project covers 4 areas: quality of life, public e-services, network security and programming.
