The Chapter of the Poznań City Scientific Award provided scholarships for Poznan young researchers from the Poznań. Among the awarded scholars, there are twelve students under 30 years of age from the Poznan University of Technology with impressive scientific achievements.

Scholarships were awarded to Krzysztof Ciomek (IT) – for the outstanding achievements and results of scientific research in the field of computer-aided decision support; Paweł Jeżowski (technical electrochemistry) – for outstanding scientific achievements contributing to the development of modern devices for energy storage – lithium-ion capacitors; Anetta Płatek (chemical technology) – for outstanding scientific achievements and Wojciech Smułek (environmental biotechnology) – for research on the use of plant surfactants in biodegradation processes of halogen derivatives of aromatic compounds.
